Idaho state courts will be open Friday, June 18, ahead of the first observance of Juneteenth as a federal holiday.

Pursuant to Idaho Court Administrative Rule 44, "lefvery day appointed by the President of the United States, or the Govemor of the state of Idaho for a public fast, thanksgiving or holiday," is a non-judicial day in Idaho. If a non-judicial day falls on a Saturday, it is to be celebrated on the preceding Friday.

Former Idaho Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles F. McDevitt has died. He was 89.

June 1, 2021 - New Trial Court Administrator Appointed For Idaho’s Third Judicial District

Jamie Robb has been appointed by the Idaho Supreme Court as the new trial court administrator for Idaho’s Third Judicial District. She is expected to start on June 21.

On March 30,2020, for public safety and to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus, this Court issued an Order In re: Closure of State Law Library providing the Idaho state law library to be closed until futher order.
