Idaho Criminal Rule 1. Scope; Courts; Exceptions


These rules apply to all criminal proceedings in the district courts and the magistrate division of the district courts of the state of Idaho with the following exceptions:


(a) Extradition and Fugitives from Justice;


(b) Forfeiture of Property for Violation of a Statute of the State of Idaho;


(c) Collection of Fines and Penalties;


(d) Juveniles Under the Youth Rehabilitation Act;


(e) Juveniles Under the Child Protective Act;


(f) Habeas Corpus;


(g) Uniform Post-Conviction Proceedings, Except as Provided in Rule 39;


(h) Coroner and Coroner's Inquests;


(i) Proceedings in Quo Warranto.

 

(Adopted February 22, 2017, effective July 1, 2017.)
