Idaho Court Administrative Rule 11. Disposition of Bail Bond Forfeitures in Misdemeanor Charges.

In the event of the forfeiture of any bail bond given for a misdemeanor charge or payment of fine pursuant to Rule 14 of the Misdemeanor Criminal Rules, such bail bond shall be allocated and distributed by first allocating the necessary sum to court costs pursuant to section 31-3201A(b), Idaho Code, and then distribute the balance of such bail bond or payment of fine pursuant to section 19-4705, Idaho Code. Upon the forfeiture of any other bail bond given for a misdemeanor charge for failure to appear or for any reason other than a forfeiture under said Rule 14 of the Misdemeanor Criminal Rules, such bail bond shall be distributed pursuant to section 19-4705, Idaho Code, but no portion of the bail bond shall be allocated to court costs under section 31-3201A(b), Idaho Code.
