2021 Fall Admission Ceremony

 

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and to accommodate social distancing, the Idaho Supreme Court will be holding swearing-in ceremonies in several sessions on Friday, September 24, 2021. In-person attendance at the sessions will be limited to only the new admittees to the Bar.  However, Idaho in Session will broadcast the sessions online, and family, friends and the public may watch the sessions live.  Recordings of the ceremonies will be provided later on this webpage.

2021 Spring Admission Ceremony

 

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and to accommodate social distancing requirements, the Idaho Supreme Court will be holding swearing-in ceremonies in several sessions on Friday, April 30, 2021.  Ceremonies will be held in the Idaho Supreme Court Building Courtroom, with approximately 14 admittees at a time taking the oath.  In-person attendance at the sessions will be limited to only the new admittees to the Bar.  However, Idaho in Session will broadcast the sessions online, and family, friends, and the public may watch the sessions live.  Recordings of the ceremonies will be provided later on this webpage.

October 30, 2020 Fall Admission Ceremony

 

As a result of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency in the State of Idaho, the Idaho Supreme Court entered various orders which stated that congregating outside courtroom doors was discouraged and social distancing inside the courtroom was encouraged.  On Friday, October 30, 2020, the Idaho Supreme Court will be holding a swearing-in ceremony at 10:00 a.m. for the admittees only.  The ceremony will be held in the Idaho Supreme Court Building Courtroom. Idaho Public Television will broadcast the session online, and the public can watch the session “live” on the Idaho Supreme Court website.  Additionally, the ceremony will be archived and saved to the Idaho Supreme Court website.

October 2, 2020 Fall Admission Ceremony

 

As a result of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency in the State of Idaho, the Idaho Supreme Court entered various orders which stated that congregating outside courtroom doors was discouraged and social distancing inside the courtroom was encouraged.  Therefore, the Idaho Supreme Court will be holding swearing-in ceremonies in several sessions on Friday, October 2, 2020.  Ceremonies will be held in the Idaho Supreme Court Building Courtroom, with approximately 15 admittees at a time taking the oath.  The sessions will occur at 8:45 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.   See the following schedule for your appointed time in which to be sworn in.  Please arrive at the Idaho Supreme Court Building first floor lobby 15 minutes prior to the assigned time and await instructions.
