Roster
of Qualified Court Interpreters
As of July, 2008
This roster
includes the names of persons who have submitted notice of their availability
to serve as a court interpreter. The
Idaho Administrative Office of the Courts does not have available any information
as to the ability of these interpreters to serve in the courts.
Pursuant to Idaho
Court Administrative Rule (I.C.A.R.) 52, a qualified interpreter is a person
who (1) is readily able to interpret or sign translate from English to the
language of the non-English-speaking person or from the language of that person
into English, and (2) agrees to follow the standards prescribed by the Idaho
Supreme Court and the Idaho Code of Professional Responsibility for
Interpreters in the Judiciary. For additional
information regarding court interpreters, please see I.C.A.R. 52 and the Code of Professional
Responsibility for Interpreters in the Judiciary.
