• March, 2008 - Mental Health Court Publication Released
  The Council of State Governments Justice Center has released an
  updated edition of “Improving Responses to People with Mental
  Illnesses: The Essential Elements of a Mental Health Court.”
  The publication is the result of many rounds of rigorous review and
  describes the 10 important program elements that jurisdictions should
  consider when planning, implementing, or enhancing a mental health
  court.
     

• February 29, 2008 - The 24^th Annual Idaho Conference on Alcohol and Drug Dependency will be held this year on May 19 – 22 at Boise State University.  The program is very comprehensive, including a very special public policy panel discussion and “town hall meeting” opportunity to interact with national and state policy makers about issues related to access and quality of substance abuse treatment as a public policy issue. There are several outstanding presenters and a number of relevant topics.
