First Family Drug Court Graduation in Idaho
Idaho’s only Family Drug Court honored its first four graduates in courtroom ceremonies in January and March. Judge Mark Riddoch
awarded graduation plaques to three mothers and a father for staying free of alcohol and controlled substances and qualifying for
reunification with their children. Families and friends joined child protection case managers and treatment counselors in congratulating
these parents for their personal achievements and for placing the needs of their children first. The Family Drug Court includes parents who
have a serious alcohol or drug use problem and whose children are in the custody or protective supervision of State Children and Family
Services.
