Law Clerk Positions:

The five justices of the Idaho Supreme Court and the four judges of the Idaho Court of Appeals each employ two law clerks, typically for a one- or two-year term. Please contact the chambers of each individual justice or judge for whom you are interested in an appellate clerkship regarding employment opportunities. Each of Idaho's 42 District judges also employs a law clerk. If you would like to be considered for one of these law clerk positions, you should contact each District judge individually.

Grant Funded Positions

The Idaho Supreme Court is pleased to be recruiting for a new position of Statewide Domestic Violence Court Coordinator.  The salary range is $52,000 to $62,000.  For more information about the position and how to apply, please click here.  This position closes at 5:00 p.m. MST on December 2, 2009.

Other than judicial, law clerk, and grant-funded positions, the Idaho Judicial Branch currently is not hiring. Due to the economic situation and its impact on our budget, we have frozen all vacancies in order to avoid or minimize any layoffs.
